This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research in genomics and molecular biology, utilizing advanced computational approaches to analyze large-scale biological datasets. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing bioinformatic pipelines, algorithms, and statistical models to interpret complex omics data, including genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics. Responsibilities will encompass data preprocessing, quality control, functional annotation, pathway analysis, and the identification of novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets. You will collaborate closely with experimental biologists, geneticists, and clinicians to design studies, analyze results, and translate findings into actionable insights. The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in computational biology, statistical genetics, or a related quantitative field, coupled with practical experience in programming languages such as Python or R, and proficiency with bioinformatics tools and databases. A Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Biology, or a related discipline is required, along with a proven track record of research publication.
