• Transcribe dictated medical reports, clinical notes, and other documentation with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Ensure all documentation complies with legal, regulatory, and confidentiality standards such as HIPAA
• Review and edit transcriptions for clarity, completeness, and correctness before final submission
• Maintain organized records of all transcribed documents for easy retrieval and audit readiness
• Support the medical team by managing electronic health records (EHR) entries efficiently and securely
• Keep up-to-date with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding guidelines to improve transcription quality
• Meet weekly or every 3-4 days to review notes before doctor signs off on them.

Experience

• Proven experience in medical transcription or scribing within a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of medical and mental health terminology and medications to accurately interpret clinical language.
• Excellent typing skills with high speed and precision to meet fast-paced workflow demands
• Prior experience working in a medical office environment is highly desirable
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and transcription software preferred
• Ability to follow detailed instructions meticulously while maintaining a proactive approach to learning
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals
