Key Responsibilities
- Listen to digital audio recordings and transcribe them accurately into text.
- Edit and proofread transcriptions for grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Deliver completed transcription tasks within deadlines while ensuring high accuracy.
- Adapt to different audio formats, accents, and subject matters efficiently.
- Communicate with supervisors or team leads to clarify instructions or resolve issues.
- Keep accurate records of completed work and time logs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent typing speed (minimum 50–60 words per minute) with high accuracy.
- Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Familiarity with transcription software or digital audio tools is an advantage.
- Good listening and comprehension skills to understand diverse accents and audio quality.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain consistency across projects.
Experience
- Prior experience in transcription, data entry, or audio typing is preferred but not mandatory.
- Freshers with strong typing skills and attention to detail are welcome to apply.
