Overview: This is an early-career role designed for candidates looking to build foundational experience in client relationship management within a fast-growing tech environment. As a Relationship Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for partner clients, supporting them throughout the full engagement lifecycle from job submission through e-filing. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless client experiences, maintaining strong relationships, and driving successful outcomes for both our partners and their end clients. This role requires strong client management skills, problem-solving ability, and a working knowledge of tax or accounting concepts.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned taxpayer and partner clients, serving as their trusted point of contact. Guide clients through the full engagement process, ensuring smooth job submission, processing, and e-filing. Monitor account activity to proactively identify issues, address concerns, and ensure timely resolutions. Collaborate with the Partner Success and internal support teams to deliver a seamless, consistent client journey. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and outcomes in CRM systems. Track and report on key client performance metrics to support team and organizational goals. Escalate complex or high-priority issues to the Manager, Client Success while maintaining ownership of communication with the client. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process enhancements. Customer-centric mindset with empathy, active listening, and a solutions-oriented approach. Professional presence and integrity in representing the company. RequirementsBachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience preferred. 1-3 years of client relationship, account management, customer success, or related experience — ideally within tech, SaaS, finance, or tax. Foundational knowledge of tax, accounting, or financial services is a plus but not required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and manage client expectations. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Proficiency in CRMs and customer success platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) a plus but not required. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple priorities. Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented mindset. Ability to support occasional extended hours if needed during peak tax seasons (March–April, Sept–Oct), where workload and client demand increase.
