Licensed Civil Engineer (PE License) — On-Site
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Civil Engineer (P.E.) to join our on-site team in Liberty, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, site development, and permitting with city and county authorities. This position plays a vital role in driving forward our large-scale infrastructure and industrial development projects.
Qualifications
- Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.) License (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in civil or structural construction projects.
- Proven experience dealing with local government permitting and regulatory processes.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, site grading, and stormwater design.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Liberty, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Oversee site planning, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadwork for active construction projects.
- Work directly with city and county officials to obtain and manage all required permits and approvals.
- Conduct and review engineering design calculations, construction drawings, and as-built documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors, surveyors, and environmental consultants to ensure compliance and timely project delivery.
- Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to engineering standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Provide technical leadership for civil aspects of ongoing construction, from concept to completion.
Preferred Experience
- Background in industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with construction scheduling and project management tools.
- Experience working on large-scale site development or manufacturing campuses.
