Join #TeamAcenda and make a lasting impact. Job Overview The Therapist provides individual and group counseling with a focus on recovery and mental wellness. This role collaborates with Acenda team members to implement evidence-based mental health services and supports students in conflict resolution and mediation. The Therapist also serves as a key partner in shaping and enhancing the delivery of recovery-focused programs and services to promote positive outcomes for clients. Program Info Our Counseling and Wellness Centers offer weekly mental health counseling to children, teens, families, and adults as well as parenting and psychiatric services. Individual therapy is offered as well as family therapy, group therapy, and medication management. Acenda is now accepting new clients for counseling services both in-person and via telehealth—a remote phone or online therapy & counseling solution. Medicaid, Aetna, AmeriHealth, and other insurances accepted.

Key Responsibilities

Provide individual and group recovery focused counseling Collaborate with Acenda team members to implement evidence based mental health services Support students in conflict resolution and/or conflict mediation as needed Serve as a key partner to providing important input into our delivery of recovery services. Requirements: A New Jersey CADC or LCADC in good standing. A New Jersey LPC, LAC, LCSW, LSW in good standing. Prior experience providing clinical care within a recovery-oriented program preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft office, Excel, and the use of Electronic Medical Records. Ability to take initiative, be creative, dependable, reliable and work well independently. Ability to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently. Professionalism and a commitment to excellence in care. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record. Additional Information Base Pay: $45.00/hourly Bilingual Rate: An additional $1.50hourly rate added to the base pay if Spanish proficient.
