Overview

Join our team as an In-Home Dog Boarding Specialist, where your passion for animals and dedication to exceptional pet care will shine! In this role, you will provide a safe, loving environment for a client’s dog in your own home while their owners are away. Your responsibilities will include caring for a variety of breeds, ensuring their comfort, and maintaining a high standard of animal handling and pet care. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on pets’ lives while putting our client’s mind at ease, knowing their pets are beind well cared for in a home-like environment. Duties

  • Provide in-home boarding services, ensuring dogs are comfortable, happy, and well-cared-for during their stay
  • Administer pet medications or special diets as prescribed by pet owners
  • Engage dogs in daily activities including walks, and playtime, and proper rest time as needed
  • Monitor dogs’ health and behavior closely
  • Maintain cleanliness of your living areas, to ensure a healthy environment for the dog
  • Communicate regularly with pet owners regarding their pets’ well-being and any notable observations during their stay

  • An understanding of dog handling and animal behavior
  • Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners
  • Strong animal handling skills combined with patience, compassion, and attention to detail
