Senior Project Developer - Solar (Distributed Generation, PV, Energy Storage)
Company Work with a team that has brought 150+ solar and energy storage projects worldwide totaling nearly 3GW. Company is a solar and energy storage development, finance, EPC, and asset management organization. About the Position: Looking for an experienced distributed generation greenfield (2-20MW) solar and storage Project Developer, to manage all aspects of project development from land identification through financing and to construction Notice To Proceed (NTP) for projects located in the Southeast, with and initial focus on Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), Virginia, and broadened scope to include GA, NC, SC, and FL. REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3-5 years DG Solar Project Development experience
- Proven track record of successful solar project development (projects in the ground) where you served as the lead Project Developer from cradle to grave.
- Experience negotiating land control documentation, curative title work, permitting, contracting and managing local engineering and permitting support, managing interconnection agreement negotiations, etc.
- Understanding of solar related technical studies such as environmental studies, geo-technical studies, soil erosion plans, etc.
- Stable work history with superb references and industry relationships
