Job Title - Power BI developer Location - Charlotte NC(Hybrid) Rate -DOE Duration: 1 year Number of roles: 2
- Develop and maintain business intelligence solutions using Power BI, SQL, MDX, and Tableau
- Review, Analyse and Modify the back-end database processes that stage the data for reports
- Write and Maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction for validation
- Reverse engineering database processes and reports, understand the logic and intent, and enhance or re-write
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Conduct testing and validate results to ensure accuracy and quality
- Support UAT testing
- Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support
- nalyze complex data sets to identify trends and insights
- Design and implement data pipelines and ensure seamless data integration
- Maintain documentation for data models, configurations, and processes
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
Required Skills
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies
- Strong Experience and Expertise in PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, and MDX
- Proficient and Experienced in Stored Procedures and complex queries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Proven track record of managing and mentoring teams
- Experience with various testing and result validation
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
- Knowledge of data mapping and data pipelines
