Unity Developer / VFX Artist
Unity Developer / VFX Artist — Remote (Contract) We're hiring a skilled Unity developer with strong VFX and animation experience to join our team on a contract basis. About the role You'll be working across two core areas — building polished, high-impact animations for a digital collectibles platform (pack openings, reveal sequences, particle-heavy moments), and contributing to the development of mobile mini-games. This is a hands-on role in a small, fast-moving studio environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience with Unity
- Proven track record contributing to shipped games or interactive products
- Strong understanding of real-time VFX (particle systems, shaders, post-processing, animation pipelines)
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a small team
- A creative mindset, you propose new ways to visualize things, improve user experiences, and push visual quality beyond the brief
- Portfolio or reel demonstrating relevant work
Nice to have:
- Experience with mobile game optimization
- Familiarity with card game or gacha-style reveal animations
- Comfort working within an existing app framework or SDK
Compensation: Up to $5,000/month USD
