NIL Brand Partnership Executive Axe Sports Group – Next Play Initiative (NPI) Location: Houston, Texas (Greater Houston Area) Type: Flexible | Commission-Based | 1-Year Term About the Opportunity Axe Sports Group is expanding into the Houston market following our recent partnership with Houston Christian University (HCU), and we are building a selective network of NIL Brand Partnership Executives to support this launch. This is a unique opportunity to be on the ground floor of building NIL revenue infrastructure in one of the most opportunity-rich markets in the country. We are seeking experienced, relationship-driven professionals based in Houston who can leverage local business connections to drive NIL partnerships for student-athletes while supporting HCU through our Next Play Initiative (NPI). Houston represents a high-growth NIL market with strong alignment across:

  • Corporate headquarters and mid-market businesses
  • A rapidly evolving college athletics landscape
  • Brands increasingly looking for authentic athlete-driven marketing

This is a commission-only, high-upside role designed for individuals who want to directly participate in building a scalable NIL ecosystem in a major metro market. About the NPI Sales Network Our NPI Sales Network is a flexible, high-performance model that:

  • Deploys experienced professionals directly into university partnerships (starting with HCU)
  • Enables continuous NIL deal sourcing across Axe’s athlete roster
  • Operates under a structured, proven NIL sales engine
  • Mirrors top-tier consulting and professional services models

Executives in Houston will play a foundational role in establishing and scaling Axe’s presence in the region. About the Next Play Initiative (NPI) The Next Play Initiative (NPI) is Axe Sports Group’s university-driven NIL and athlete development platform, built to deliver:

  • NIL education and brand readiness
  • Mental performance training
  • Financial literacy programming
  • Life-after-sports development
  • A dedicated NIL sales engine that generates real revenue opportunities

With HCU now onboard, the focus shifts to execution — driving partnerships, activating brands, and delivering measurable results.

Responsibilities

HCU Partnership Support (Primary Focus)

  • Represent Axe Sports Group within the Houston market
  • Drive local and regional brand outreach aligned with HCU athletes
  • Develop and pitch NIL partnership opportunities
  • Support proposal creation and deal execution
  • Coordinate with Axe leadership and HCU stakeholders

Athlete NIL Deal Sourcing (Ongoing)

  • Build relationships with Houston-based brands and agencies
  • Identify creative partnership opportunities for athletes
  • Pitch, negotiate, and advance deals through the pipeline
  • Collaborate internally to activate and fulfill partnerships

What We’re Looking For We are prioritizing candidates with strong Houston market connectivity, including:

  • Business development or sales professionals
  • Sponsorship / partnership managers
  • Marketing and advertising sales reps
  • Individuals with deep ties to Houston’s business community
  • Former athletes or alumni with strong local networks

Compensation
