Account Payable Specialist AR/AP

The Account Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment execution while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring financial integrity within our organization.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Verify and reconcile discrepancies in invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records and documentation.
• Prepare payment schedules and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any payment-related issues promptly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth procurement and payment processes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with accounting software and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with vendors and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and regulations.
