Strategic Pharmaceutical Medical Writer/Director

Together, we create the momentum that moves science, brands, and careers forward. 20+ hours per week for the next 8-12 weeks with potential continuation through the year. Heaviest lift will be the next 3 months. Our client has a product that treats Achondroplasia, and will be launching a second indication for the drug to treat hypochondroplasia. We are the global agency of record, tasked with creating all of the marketing materials for the launch of the new indication, and then updating the current materials which speak to the first indication, to now include information related to the dual indication. There is competition coming on the market as well, so the client is hoping we can put together a team of experts who can approach all strategically. Currently, we have kicked off our message development for all of this work, and our messages are in market research, and have gone through initial rounds of medical/legal reviews. From here, we are in need of a medical writer who will be asked to update messages post-market research findings, and then pull through the messaging in interactive visual aids, videos, objection handler, FAQs and other sales materials, and Speaker decks. We need a medical writer who can collaborate with our team and client, and will be client-facing. There is a need to present the work we're developing to the client. We expect the writer to become the expert on the claims and that we can make for this brand. We have other med writers and promotional writers on the team to support workload, but we are looking for a senior writer who can jump in to own these projects, quickly. Skills in Veeva annotations a plus.
