[Remote] Prompt Optimization German (Germany)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Welo Data is seeking experienced language specialists to optimize AI-generated translations for attraction and travel content. The role involves reviewing, refining, and validating language prompts to ensure naturalness, fluency, and cultural relevance in translations.

Responsibilities

• Review pre-written prompt instructions for tone, grammar, proper name handling, and measurements
• Add language-specific grammar or stylistic notes to enhance prompt accuracy
• Translate product-specific terms (e.g., “skip-the-line,” “hop-on hop-off,” etc.) and cross-check against approved glossaries
• Proofread bilingual example descriptions for accuracy and readability
• Run sample attraction descriptions through GPT-4.O, evaluate output, and refine prompts as needed
• Identify and flag issues that cannot be resolved through prompt tuning

Skills

• Native or near Native level of proficiency in the ( German ) language, with an ability to assess naturalness and fluency for local audiences
• Strong English comprehension to follow detailed instructions and communicate effectively
• Professional experience in localization, translation QA, language review, or similar fields
• Comfort with AI tools, specifically GPT-4o, with experience evaluating AI output critically
• Background in travel, tourism, or hospitality content to quickly grasp terminology and tone expectations
• Ability to articulate grammar rules and stylistic preferences, providing clear written instructions for AI models
• Experience with terminology management or style guides for maintaining consistency and quality
• QA or review experience, with a sharp eye for errors, omissions, and register
