Director of Development and Fundraising (Remote)

Our client, a respected non-profit organization dedicated to community welfare, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Development and Fundraising to lead their advancement efforts. This fully remote position will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure financial support for the organization's mission. The Director will cultivate relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors, identifying new funding opportunities and stewarding existing partnerships. Key responsibilities include planning and managing annual fundraising campaigns, overseeing grant writing efforts, and organizing fundraising events (virtually and in-person as needed). You will be responsible for setting fundraising goals, managing the development budget, and tracking progress towards targets. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Non-profit Management, Marketing, Communications) and a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in fundraising and development, preferably within the non-profit sector. Proven success in securing major gifts, grant funding, and corporate sponsorships is essential. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are required. Experience with donor management software (e.g., Raiser's Edge, Salesforce) and a strong understanding of fundraising best practices are necessary.
