Why This Role Matters

The Customer Education Specialist is the bridge between arenaflex’s sophisticated public‑safety software suite and the agencies that rely on it every day. By delivering engaging, hands‑on training, you enable law‑enforcement, fire, and emergency‑management teams to unlock the full potential of our solutions, ultimately contributing to safer streets, faster response times, and more effective community protection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Deliver Training: Create and execute comprehensive training programs for agency customers, covering the full spectrum of arenaflex’s public‑safety software—including the arenaflex Flex platform and third‑party integrations.
  • On‑Site Instruction: Travel to customer sites across the United States (75%+ travel) to provide hands‑on classroom sessions, live demonstrations, and interactive workshops tailored to the unique needs of each agency.
  • Multi‑Modal Presentation: Utilize a variety of instructional methods—lecture, flip‑chart, virtual classroom, online projection, and blended learning—to accommodate diverse learning styles and technical proficiencies.
  • Curriculum Development: Continuously refine training materials, user guides, and quick‑reference cards based on feedback, product updates, and emerging best practices.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between the training team and agency contacts, coordinating schedules, managing expectations, and ensuring seamless information flow.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Complete all required post‑training reports, attendance logs, and performance metrics in accordance with departmental standards and compliance requirements.

  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS), screen‑capture software, and remote‑presentation platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training engagements simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear documentation and training guides.
  • Technical aptitude for troubleshooting software installations, network configurations, and integration points during live sessions.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Customer‑Centric Mindset: A genuine passion for helping public‑safety professionals succeed, paired with empathy for the high‑stakes environments they operate in.
  • Adaptability: Ability to pivot quickly when product updates or customer needs evolve, ensuring training remains relevant and impactful.
