Sourcing Specialist
Role Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to manage supplier sourcing and procurement activities across multiple product categories. The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating pricing and commercial terms, and managing sourcing operations to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard local and international suppliers across various product categories.
- Manage the complete sourcing cycle, including supplier research, quotation analysis, price negotiations, and supplier selection.
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand sourcing requirements and ensure timely procurement of products and materials.
- Research markets to identify new sourcing opportunities, suppliers, and industry trends.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and commercial agreements with suppliers.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor vendor performance to ensure quality and service standards.
- Coordinate production timelines, shipment schedules, and delivery follow-ups with vendors.
- Ensure all sourced products comply with company quality standards and operational requirements.
- Maintain sourcing records, supplier databases, contracts, and procurement documentation.
- Support business growth and product development initiatives through efficient sourcing strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
- Strong understanding of supplier sourcing, procurement processes, and vendor management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers and projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with international suppliers and global sourcing operations.
- Familiarity with import/export coordination and supply chain processes.
- Experience in e-commerce or retail sourcing operations will be an advantage.
