Safety Analysis Engineer 1

The Safety Analysis Engineer will perform design basis safety analysis for nuclear reactors, focusing on Loss of Coolant Accidents, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- As a Loss of Coolant Analysis (LOCA) Engineer you will perform design basis safety analysis for nuclear reactors, in particular for Loss of Coolant Accidents
- Development and assessment of models and correlations for prediction of two-phase flow and heat transfer phenomena·
- Use statistical techniques for performing realistic nuclear reactor safety analysis and development of analysis methodologies for design basis accidents·
- Cognizance of plant specific licensing basis, Analysis of Record, 50.46 reporting·
- Act as point of contact for plant-specific LOCA specific inquiries from both internal and external customers·
- Evaluate impacts of plant modifications and operating changes on design analysis
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in one of the following engineering disciplines required: Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Nuclear Engineering
