Pool Technical Service Representative, 1st Shift
Pentair is a company committed to sustainable water solutions, serving customers globally. They are seeking a Pool Technical Service Representative to partner with customers and internal teams to diagnose equipment issues and ensure service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for equipment-related inquiries, troubleshooting, and service support within our Pool Division
- Diagnose equipment issues using technical documentation, system data, and customer input and assist customers and field technicians with setup, operation, maintenance, and repair guidance
- Schedule supporting service visits and follow up on open service cases to resolution
- Process parts orders, warranty claims, returns (RMAs), and service documentation as required
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding service status, timelines, and next steps, and collaborate with internal teams including production, engineering, shipping, quality, and sales to resolve issues
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within CRM and ERP system
- Participate in ongoing technical and product training to stay current on equipment updates and procedures
Skills
- Strong customer service skills required
- Background in technical field work with Pentair pool products is highly desired
- HVAC experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience working with CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Must be able to multi-task, have great computer skills, and be able to work within several different software applications at once
- Ability to go into the office when needed for training or events (otherwise work is remote)
