What You’ll Do as an arenaflex Customer Engagement Specialist

As a Remote Customer Service Call Center Agent at arenaflex, your day will be dynamic, fast-paced, and people-focused. You’ll handle a blend of inbound and outbound calls on behalf of our brand partners, delivering exceptional service while representing each organization with integrity and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle Inbound Customer Inquiries: Professionally receive incoming calls from customers seeking information, support, account assistance, or guidance on products and services. Listen actively, empathize, and resolve issues efficiently on the first call whenever possible.
  • Make Outbound Calls on Behalf of Partner Brands: Reach out to existing or prospective customers to share information, confirm details, facilitate transactions, promote services, or follow up on previous interactions — all while maintaining a positive and respectful tone.
  • Facilitate Transactions and Promote Services: Accurately process orders, schedule appointments, update account information, and walk customers through product or service offerings in a clear, confident manner.
  • Deliver a World-Class Customer Experience: Create positive engagements by tailoring your communication style to each caller, anticipating needs, and exceeding expectations on every interaction.
  • Document Call Outcomes: Accurately log call notes, customer concerns, and resolution details within our CRM and call center platforms to ensure continuity and quality.
  • Adhere to Compliance and Brand Standards: Follow all client-specific scripts, compliance protocols, and quality guidelines to protect both the customer and the partner brand’s reputation.
  • Collaborate with Team Leaders and Trainers: Participate in coaching sessions, team huddles, and ongoing training to continuously sharpen your skills and stay current on product updates.
  • Maintain a Professional Remote Workspace: Uphold a quiet, distraction-free home office environment that supports focus, productivity, and confidentiality.

Compensation & Pay Structure

  • Competitive Hourly Pay: Earn between $12.00 and $17.00 per hour, depending on experience, performance, and the specific client campaign you’re assigned to.

Schedule & Flexibility

  • Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities: Whether you’re looking for 40 hours a week or a flexible side income, we have shifts that fit your lifestyle.
  • Minimum 15 Hours per Week: A reliable baseline of hours to keep you engaged and earning consistently.
  • Flexible Shift Options: Choose from 4-hour, 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts and even select your own hours once training is complete.
  • Monday–Friday Start: Your training and initial schedule run Monday through Friday. After training concludes, weekend availability opens up for those who want it.

What You Should Know About Benefits

Please note that this role does not include company-sponsored medical or health insurance. As a 1099 independent contractor, you’ll enjoy the flexibility and autonomy that comes with contract work, including the ability to set your own schedule and work from the comfort of your home. Essential Qualifications

  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Educational & Experience Background: While prior customer service, retail, sales, or call center experience is a plus, we welcome driven individuals from all walks of life who bring strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: You can articulate ideas clearly, listen actively, and adapt your tone to suit a wide range of customer personalities and situations.
  • Customer-First Mindset: You genuinely enjoy helping people and have a knack for turning potentially frustrating situations into positive outcomes.
  • Self-Discipline & Independence: You can stay productive and motivated in a remote work environment without direct supervision.
  • Reliable Home Office Setup: A quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions and background noise is essential.
  • Background Check Clearance: You must successfully pass a background check in a timely manner to avoid delays in training.
  • Skill Assessment: Complete a brief skills evaluation to demonstrate your readiness for the role.

Hardware & Software Requirements

To ensure a seamless experience for both you and our partner brands, your home office must meet the following technical requirements:

  • Computer: Windows PC or laptop running Windows 10 or 11 only with at least 8GB of RAM (4GB usable).
  • Processor: Intel or AMD processor.
  • Monitor: Minimum 14-inch screen; dual monitors strongly recommended for productivity.
  • Security: Windows Defender antivirus and Firewall must be enabled at all times.
  • Internet Connection: United States-based, high-speed internet with a wired Ethernet connection to your router or modem (Wi-Fi is not permitted). Minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload are required, with a maximum roundtrip latency of 120ms. Cloud-based internet services are not accepted.
  • Connection Restrictions: Mobile hotspots (T-Mobile, Verizon, etc.), satellite internet, and VPNs are not permitted. Your ISP must be stable and located within the USA or its territories.
  • Audio Equipment: USB wired headset (wireless headsets are not compatible), plus external speakers or working computer audio.
  • Additional Peripherals: External wired mouse and a functioning webcam.

Telephone & Authentication Requirements

  • Phone Access: While the actual customer calls route through our platform, you’ll need a phone for verification “PIN calls” as part of the onboarding process.
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Mandatory MFA setup is required for accessing company systems, including Microsoft Teams.
  • Preferred Device: A cell phone is preferred, though a landline will also be accepted for verification purposes.

Geographic & Residency Requirements

  • Applicants must reside in the United States and must not be permanent residents of the following states: Pennsylvania, Washington, California, District of Columbia, Oregon, Colorado, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, or Maryland.
