Why This Role Matters – The Impact of a Global Equity Consultant

In today’s fast‑moving business environment, equity‑based compensation plans are a critical tool for attracting, retaining, and motivating top talent. As a Consultant, Global Equity at arenaflex, you will be at the heart of our equity administration team, ensuring that complex stock‑based awards are processed accurately, compliantly, and on time. Your work will directly support the financial well‑being of thousands of employees worldwide, helping them understand and benefit from performance share units (PSUs), restricted stock units (RSUs), and stock option plans.

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly proactive data audits to verify operational compliance of equity‑based long‑term incentive (LTI) plans and stock purchase plans (SPPs).
  • Process the issuance, vesting, and settlement of PSUs, RSUs, and SPP matching ratio awards with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Review equity transaction activity—including option exercises, RSU/PSU releases, and SPP activities—to ensure accurate and timely purchase, release, settlement, and reporting.
  • Research, track, and respond to inquiries from participants, payroll partners, and other stakeholders, providing clear and helpful guidance.
  • Support the equity‑based LTI award delivery process and SPP enrollment activities, collaborating closely with HR, finance, and legal teams.
  • Generate ad‑hoc data analytics and reporting to inform ongoing operations and strategic decision‑making.
  • Maintain and update equity administration policies and documentation, ensuring they reflect current regulations and best practices.
  • Assist with additional equity plan administration tasks as needed, such as year‑end reconciliations, audit preparation, and system enhancements.

Essential Qualifications – What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • At least 1 year of experience in equity plan administration, payroll, tax, accounting, or a comparable discipline is preferred.
  • Familiarity with multiple equity plan products, including stock options, PSUs, RSUs, and stock purchase plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new tools, systems, and processes quickly and efficiently.
  • Understanding of HRIS platforms—particularly Workday—and the flow of data between systems.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the capability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications – Nice‑to‑Have Extras

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Equity Professional (CEP) or similar.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization with cross‑functional teams.
  • Exposure to regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., SEC, IFRS, GAAP) related to equity compensation.
  • Advanced Excel or data‑visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

Core Skills & Competencies – What Will Make You Successful

  • Detail‑Oriented: Precision is essential when handling financial data and legal documentation.
  • Clear Communicator: Ability to convey complex equity concepts in plain language to diverse audiences.
  • Data Analysis: Strong quantitative skills to audit, reconcile, and report on equity transactions.
  • Customer‑Focused: A service mindset that prioritizes the needs of internal stakeholders and plan participants.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Comfortable working across HR, Finance, Legal, and IT teams in a global setting.
  • Problem‑Solver: Proactive in identifying issues, investigating root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
