The Opportunity: Senior Information Designer & Data Pipeline Specialist
arenaflex is seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Designer to join our Information Designing group within DDSI. This remote position offers an exceptional opportunity for professionals passionate about data management, ETL/ELT processes, and information design. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing and executing complex data pipelines, developing dataset mappings, and creating batch processes using Wind current technologies.
This $30/hour remote position provides the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to impactful projects that transform how organizations interact with their data. Key Responsibilities
- ETL/ELT Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines that ensure efficient and accurate data flow across multiple systems and platforms.
- Data Architecture: Create and execute comprehensive dataset mapping, tables, and perspectives that optimize data structure for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Batch Process Engineering: Build and refine batch processes using Wind current technologies to automate data processing tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Data Quality Management: Implement rigorous quality assurance protocols to identify and resolve data inconsistencies, ensuring the integrity and reliability of all datasets.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain thorough documentation of data processes, architectures, and transformations, creating clear reports for stakeholders at all levels.
- System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new data systems and tools into existing infrastructure, ensuring seamless data flow.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize data processes to improve efficiency, reduce processing times, and enhance overall system performance.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all data handling processes adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining data privacy and security at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data management, ETL/ELT processes, and information design.
- Proficiency in Wind current or similar data processing technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in data handling and processing.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Remote work experience with the ability to self-motivate and maintain productivity in a virtual environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Advanced certifications in data management, ETL processes, or information design.
