Blockchain Data Analyst, Researcher
Job Description:
- As a Blockchain Data Analyst & Researcher, you will serve as a pivotal force in our data intelligence efforts
- Your core mission will involve a deep dive into the mechanics of various blockchain networks
- Reverse engineering of sophisticated Decentralized Finance (DeFi) protocols and translating these into actionable, structured data
- Develop new derivative data models and datasets for client insights
- Map, cleanse, and normalize raw blockchain data into structured relational and non-relational schemes for analytics tools
Requirements:
- 3+ years hands-on in Data Science, Data Engineering, or a hybrid role
- Blockchain or crypto analytics background strongly preferred
- Familiarity with on-chain data structures, transaction semantics, and asset classification
- Streaming & Lakehouse Apache Flink or Spark Streaming building and operating real-time data pipelines
- Apache Iceberg or Apache Hudi managing large-scale Data Lakehouses
- AWS Data Platform S3 for scalable data lake storage
- RDS for structured relational workloads
- Spark SQL and PySpark for interactive querying and ad-hoc analysis
- Proficient in architecting high-throughput ingestion pipelines that leverage external data sources REST/WebSocket APIs, JSON-RPC node queries
- Strong grasp of ETL fundamentals (extract, transform, load)
- Systematic approach to debugging; comfortable with large, semi-structured, or undocumented data sources
