Solution Architect
Job Description – Solution Architect Contract | Remote | UK Public Sector Project OVERViEW We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to support the delivery of a UK Public Sector. The role will focus on assessing existing systems, defining target architecture, and recommending scalable technology solutions across a mixed technology estate, including Power Platform, Dynamics 365, legacy, and bespoke systems.
Key Responsibilities
Assess current systems and define solution recommendations Design end-to-end solution architecture aligned to business and technical requirements Produce HLDs, architecture options, and technical recommendations Evaluate build vs buy vs extend approaches Ensure alignment to security, scalability, and performance standards Work closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, and delivery teams Provide architecture governance and support across delivery Mandatory Requirements Proven experience as a Solution Architect on complex programmes Strong experience across enterprise, legacy, and cloud-based environments Knowledge of Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience producing architecture documentation and solution designs Desirable Financial systems or lending platform experience UK Public Sector experience Agile delivery environment experience Soft Skills Pragmatic and outcome-focused Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in evolving environments Collaborative and confident communicator Contract Details Contract Type: Freelance / Contract Location: Remote Sector: UK Public Sector Start Date: ASAP Clearance: BPSS / Eligibility to work with UK Government departments Apply To This Job
