Position Overview – Senior Analyst, Specialty Compliance & Import Data Entry

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure strict compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations for all imported merchandise, applying appropriate tariff classifications and duty rates.
  • Collect, review, and validate all required import documentation—including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and entry summaries—to guarantee legal entry into the United States.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to interpret and implement global trade policies, ensuring alignment with arenaflex’s ethical sourcing standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for import compliance, providing clear guidance to cross‑functional teams.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on evolving customs regulations, delivering insights and recommendations that drive proactive risk mitigation.
  • Support vendors and overseas suppliers in navigating arenaflex’s compliance requirements, offering training and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify compliance gaps, propose corrective actions, and monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite—particularly Excel and Access—to create detailed reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that track compliance metrics and performance trends.
  • Participate in cross‑departmental projects, contributing analytical expertise to initiatives such as cost optimization, supply chain resilience, and sustainability reporting.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and data integrity, handling sensitive commercial information with professionalism and discretion.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in data analysis or data entry, with a proven track record of delivering high‑quality results on time.
  • At least 3 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of import regulations, tariff classification, and customs documentation (experience with import compliance is highly preferred).
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and the ability to perform complex calculations accurately.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical information to non‑technical audiences.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for outcomes.
